The following terms and conditions apply between the camper and Dünencamping Amrum GmbH (hereinafter referred to as the campsite). By registering, the camper expressly accepts the content of these terms and conditions. Deviating and/or supplementary agreements require the express written confirmation of the camping company.



By sending the written registration, the camper makes a binding offer to the campsite to conclude a camping contract for the specified period and for the number of persons registered. The camping contract only comes into effect with the written booking confirmation by the camping company. There is no entitlement to a specific pitch. Information given by telephone, additional agreements and other assurances of any kind are only part of the contract if they have been confirmed in writing by the campsite. 



The prices to be paid by the camper are stated in the current price list of the campsite. It is the responsibility of the camper to check the prices applicable during the period of registration before booking. 

After receiving the booking confirmation, please check it immediately for correctness! The campsite reserves the right to change the booking in the same way if this is necessary for special reasons. Registrations of young people under the age of 18 travelling alone are not permitted and will be cancelled by the camping company. The exception to this is when accompanied by a supervisor of full age. 

An early arrival before 12:00 noon is only possible after consultation, availability of the pitch/rental object and against payment of a fee of 10.00 €. 

A late departure after 10:00 a.m. and only after consultation and availability of the pitch/rental object, will be charged a fee of 10,00 €. In case of departure after 14:00 hrs and only after consultation and availability of the pitch, an additional full night will be charged. 

Pitch numbers shown in order confirmations are for internal numbering and are binding. 

The camping guest's booking is only binding after receipt of the deposit. 



The campsite is obliged to collect and pay the respective health resort tax from the campers. The amount to be paid will be shown separately in the total bill. 



For changes, such as the period, the name or the pitch, a rebooking fee of € 15.00 will be charged. Bookings with a deposit paid can only be rebooked for the same calendar year. 



Only one family (maximum 6 persons) can be booked per camping pitch. Additional tents for visitors are not permitted. The number of persons (4) is limited to the maximum permitted occupancy for the rented accommodation. Camping at the rental property is not permitted. 



After receipt of the request for payment by the guest, a deposit of 20% of the order amount is to be transferred within six days.  

The remaining balance is to be paid on arrival.

When transferring payments, it is essential to state the booking number and name as stated in the request for payment as the purpose of payment. Bundled payments for several bookings are not desired and will be transferred back and cancelled. Unallocable payments will be returned and bookings cancelled. 

Pitches and chalets which become free due to early departure can be allocated by the campsite management to another person without deduction, unless the guest can prove that the campsite has suffered less damage than the payment made. 

There will be no refund in case of early departure. 



The camper may withdraw from the camping contract in writing after receipt of the deposit. The date of receipt of the written notice of withdrawal by the campsite is decisive for the date of withdrawal. If the camper withdraws from the contract, the campsite shall be entitled to reasonable compensation as follows in accordance with § 651i BGB: 

- Cancellation up to 45 days before the start of the stay: 

35,00 € cancellation fee 

- Cancellation from 44 days before the start of the stay: 

20% of the total price confirmed at the time of booking 

- Cancellation 21 days or more before the start of the stay 

100% of the total price confirmed at the time of booking.

The camping pitch or the rented property is available to the camper from 14:00 on the day of arrival. Please do not arrive earlier in order to avoid traffic obstructions at the entrance to the camping park. 



The campsite guest is obliged to observe the rules and regulations of the campsite regulations, which are available for inspection at the reception. In particular, the times specified therein must be observed. 

The campsite is entitled to terminate the camping contract without notice if the campers' behaviour endangers or disturbs others or if the campers' behaviour is in breach of the contract to such an extent that immediate termination of the contract is justified. In such a case, the camping company retains its claim to the agreed total price as a lump sum compensation according to point 7. Refunds of payments already made are excluded (point 7). Unless the guest can prove that the Camping Establishment has suffered a lesser loss than the payment made. 



The campsite guest is obliged to register visitors at the reception. Please refer to the current price list (person fee). Visitors' vehicles must be parked outside the campsite premises. 



Any complaints regarding the campsite or rented accommodation must be reported immediately to the campsite management by the camper. The assertion of claims for defects is excluded if these have not been reported directly to the campsite during the stay of the camper. The campsite must be given a reasonable period of time to rectify the defect (rectification). 



During the low season, the reception, the shops, the sanitary buildings, the restaurants, the entertainment, etc. have limited opening hours. At times, not all areas of the campsite are open.  



The campsite is monitored by video cameras in critical areas. This serves to ensure the safety of campers (detection and prevention of safety hazards), to protect property and possessions, to control access authorisations and to exercise house rules. The recordings will only be evaluated if necessary and only the required data will be stored until clarification. Data will not be passed on to third parties. The video recordings are regularly deleted automatically in accordance with § 6b Abs BDSG. In addition, the recording device is protected from access by unauthorised third parties by suitable measures in accordance with § 9 BDSG. 

At regular intervals, the campsite makes video and audio recordings at the campsite. If the campsite guest does not wish this to happen, the photographer or camera team must be informed immediately. 

The campsite collects, processes and uses this data for the booking order and for its own marketing purposes within the framework of the legal regulations. The data will not be passed on to third parties outside the scope of the booking. The campsite will gladly provide the guest with information about his or her data or block it with effect for the future. 



Dogs are not allowed on the playgrounds, in the sanitary buildings (except for the dog bath) and during the entertainment. In case of conspicuous behaviour of the dog or complaints from other guests, the campsite management can expel the dog from the site. Dogs must be kept on a lead on the campsite, camping pitches and rented accommodation. 



The camping company is only liable in the case of intent or gross negligence on the part of its legal representative or vicarious agent in accordance with the statutory provisions. Otherwise, the campsite is only liable for injury to life, body or health. This applies to all claims for damages (in particular for damages in addition to performance and damages in lieu of performance), irrespective of the legal grounds, in particular due to the breach of duties arising from the contractual obligation or from tort. The camping company is only liable for falling branches or similar within the scope of the existing liability insurance. There is no claim for damage caused by force majeure. 



The campsite reserves the right to correct errors, misprints and miscalculations. 


18. SET-OFF 

The camper may only offset claims that are undisputed or have been legally established. 



The camper can only sue the campsite at its registered office. The place of residence of the camper shall be decisive for legal action by the campsite, unless the action is directed against registered traders or persons who do not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany, or against persons who have moved their place of residence or habitual abode abroad after conclusion of the contract, or whose place of residence or habitual abode is not known at the time the action is brought. In these cases, the domicile of the camping company is decisive.

Guests who are in quarantine or in domestic isolation due to COVID 19, or who show signs of infection, are strictly prohibited from arriving! 

When you register, you will be asked again about a possible COVID 19 infection and about any contact within the last 14 days with a confirmed COVID case, so that possible contacts can be traced. 

Should a booking not be feasible due to current travel regulations or decrees on accommodation issued by the Federal Government of Germany or its state representations, it can be postponed free of charge. The deposit paid will be refunded in the form of a voucher.
